Dr. Martin Dung of the Tema General hospital addressing students of the Labone Secondary School last Friday on drug abuse, enumerated a host of the most abused drugs by students with the worse being herbal concoctions.
He explained that the multiplicity of the chemical components of certain herbal concoctions had resulted in the most reported cases of chronic liver and kidney complications.
He advised the students to eschew bad company and stay away from drugs, which he said might reward instantly, but have long-term grave consequences.
